Nikuni VDF sludge pods are fitted to the base of the VDF hydrocyclones to collect separated waste particles for recycling or waste disposal. One benefit of fitting a sludge pod is that it consolidates waste particles separated, and, by doing so, reduces the volume of fluid in circulation saving energy. Aeration & Mixing can fit either manually operated ball valves or air operated timer controlled ball valves to the base of the Nikuni sludge pods to facilitate controlled or automated dumping.
