Nikuni VDF "element-less" hydrocyclonic filtration and contaminant separation systems have uses in many sectors. Major sector uses include CNC machining centre and CNC grinding centre coolant cleaning, where up to 95% of aluminium particles down to 10um and 97% of cast iron particles down to 10um can be removed in one pass. The practical benefits include cleaner coolant, reduced tool wear, shorter finishing times and reduced labour costs as no replacement elements are required. The environmental damage due to the disposal of contaminated filter media is also eliminated.Nikuni VDF model flow rates range from 10 lpm to 1,000 lpm with all models providing the same excellent levels of separation performance. The VDF hydrocyclones can be applied to a wide range of filtration/separation applications where particle sizes to be removed are no more than 100um.
