EL Wire Systems

Neon wire is a new variety of flexible lighting based on the electroluminescent idea. The cable is made up of a centre core of phosphor coated copper wire with a spiral wrap of 2 fine wires covered with a plastic outer sheath. When a voltage is applied across the wires, the phosphor glows.
