11-09-2018

Typical overview of the Mezzanine floor lifter: The lift will be constructed using a single mast which must be bolted to the building block-work to provide additional support to the load legs. The lift platform will measure approximately 2140mm wide by 1540mm deep and will close down over the legs. The platform will feature 1100mm high rails on all sides and a double outwards opening gate. The gates will be spring loaded and will lock with a gravity system but will also be sensed to prevent platform movement if the gate is open. Design, manufacture and install 1 off mast-type goods lift to be installed alongside a mezzanine floor system for Aston Martin Lagonda Limited. The lift will be constructed using a single mast which must be bolted down to the ground floor as well as the block work wall to the left of the mezzanine. Brackets will be supplied to support the mast rigidly away from the structural building brace. (Dimensions to be confirmed during pre-manufacture site survey) The lift platform will measure approximately 2200mm wide by 1600mm deep and will close down over the legs. The clear working platform area will be 2140mm x 1540mm.The overall plan size of the lift will be approx 2200mm wide x 1850mm deep The platform will feature 1100mm high rails on all sides with twin outwards opening gates opposite the mast (Side B) and to the left of the mast (Side A) The gates will lock with a gravity system but will also be sensed to prevent platform movement if the gate is open. The platform will close to the floor with a 60mm lowered height and have a total raised height of 3460mm. The maximum lift height will be governed by a limit switch system to ensure that the platform parks with the mezzanine upper floor. The platform will be supplied with a loading ramp to be permanently fixed to the ground floor measuring 2200mm wide by 600mm long giving a gradient of 10%. Mounted opposite the mast. The hydraulic power pack will be mounted to the mast and electrical system will be housed in a separate box, mounted on the enclosure at ground level. Control points will be positioned at both ground and upper floor levels. Both points will feature latching call buttons and emergency stop controls. Power requirement: 415V 3 phase + Neutral via 10amp isolator supplied by customer Motor specification: 0.8Kw 3phase 415V with 4ltr reservoir Maximum lift capacity will be 200Kg Manufacture and install 1 off External guard system for both upper and lower floors. The lift will be supplied with an external guard to fully enclose the unit and will comprise as follows: 5660mm high mesh panels on 3 exposed sides incorporating twin outward opening gates 2000mm high opposite the mast (Side B) at ground level and twin outward opening gates 2000mm high to the left of the mast (Side A). The gates will be fitted with an electrical interlock to prevent opening when the lift is not parked. The enclosure will reach under the mezzanine at ground level by 200mm with panels 2500mm high. At mezzanine level the enclosure height will be 2200mm again reaching in 200mm. This is to allow appropriate clearance between the outside face of the enclosure and the moving lift car. Overall size of enclosure 2600mm x 2050mm Installation of the lift at: Aston Martin Lagonda Limited, Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwick.
