Pad printing's 'little and large' unveiled

Two new machines have just joined the Mascoprint line-up - the little and large of pad printing. The SPC-818D Pad Printer has a plate size of 625mm x 125mm which has a transversal option to allow larger print length - up to 300m. The maximum print diameter is 105mm with a 120mm diameter ink cup. The 818D has a maximum cycle speed of 1200/hr and print pressure of 2955N (6 bar). It weighs in at 210kg. This machine can handle large items such as contoured boxes and fascia panels, and its transversal option offers an increased print length, which can cope with items such as rulers. At the other end of the pad printer scale emerges the 40kg SPC-84. This compact work-horse has a plate size of 230mm x 100mm with a 90mm diameter ink cup. Its maximum cycle speed is 1300/hr and it has a print pressure of 473N (6 bar). This machine is perfect for small items such as golf balls and tees, cosmetic bottles and jars and promotional items such as key fobs.
