Arcotherm EC55 HD 51kw Indirect Diesel Fired Heater
Product Code: 02ec303hd
DetailsThe EC55 has an output of 51kW (175,000 BTUs / Hr), and is widely recognised as being one of the UK's most popular indirect oil fired heaters for use in the marquee / event / temporary structure industry.
However, its dual voltage option also makes the EC55 very popular with the tool hire industry for use in construction, and the horticultural / agricultural sector for the heating of glasshouses, polytunnels and grain drying applications.
The EC55 heavy duty version is supported by a 105 litre metal fuel tank, which in turn connects to the metal sheathed, hydrocarbon resistant rubber fuel hoses; the 4.64 Litres / Hr fuel consumption means that the heater will comfortably operate continually for over 22 hours in the manual position (I), but the heater is most likely to be used in conjunction with the Heavy Duty Thermostat (02AC582), with the main switch set to position (II).
The EC55 has an AISI 430 Stainless Steel Combustion Chamber, with four smoke revolutions for increased efficiency; the unit's combustion is governed by an electronic control box, with an electronic flame control sensor and safety thermostat also as standard. The fuel is delivered at a consistent pressure by way of a Danfoss fuel pump, driven directly off the motor.
The heater can be purchased with or without accessories such as ducting, flue, rain cowl. Other accessories available include a two-way splitter, pneumatic wheel kit and pre-heat oil filter.
The EC55 heavy duty heaters are often required to provide heat on construction and building sites, semi-permanent or permanent structures, and new property developments. so they come complete with a Tigerloop kit to enable connection to an external tank if needed
