The Traveller P24H is small and compact making it easy to transport and suitable for holiday usage. Portable filters are available with different options of tap connectors to allow connection to the tap or, on its own, as a replacement if you already have the tap connections. Tap connections simply connect onto the existing tap without the need for any plumbing.Before purchasing the tap connection please ensure your tap has a removable ½" aerator.and ensure you have selected the correct connection for your tap. If you are unsure please contact us on (01805) 804 202.Type: Heavy metal reductionSilverline UK Heavy Metal Reduction filters are designed to reduce/remove a wide range of contaminants from water, in particular a vast range of heavy metals as well as chemicals and chlorine to improve taste and odour. They are also effective against fluoride and in many cases nitrates too.The filters use a combination of medias to provide a superior quality of drinking water without stripping the minerals (e.g calcium) from the water.The activated carbon element of the filters removes/reduces many volatile organic chemicals (VOC), as well as benzene, trihalomethane (THM) compounds, radon, solvents and hundreds of other man-made chemicals found in tap water. It is recommended that the P24H filter is replaced yearly or more frequently dependent on the usage. After time the media becomes exhausted and this will inhibit the effective filtration of the water.Please Note - We are currently unable to supply the push on rubber tap connectors.
