Repackaged Product Program
UL's Repackaged Product Program provides solutions for distributors, retailers, importers and manufacturers who need to redistribute bulk shipments to accommodate customer needs and manage inventories. Definition UL's Repackaged Product Program enables the redistribution of bulk shipments. Participants must maintain records tracing the repackaged products and ensure that information essential to the safe installation, operation or application of the product is preserved. Products requiring UL holographic labels are not eligible for coverage under the UL Repackaged Product Program. Benefits UL's Repackaged Product Program enables repackagers to create value for their buyers by being able to provide them with smaller quantities of UL Certified products and components from bulk shipments while maintaining the appropriate UL Markings on the new packaging for the individual items or sublot quantities. End-product manufacturers will experience reduced time required for follow up inspection visits, since the components employed in their products continue to bear the UL Mark.Visit the UL International (UK) Ltd website for more information on Repackaged Product Program
