Retail Certification Program

The retail certification program (RCP) is an ACLASS/ANAB accredited Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) program that satisfies multiple retailers’ annual certification requirements as well as promotes conformance to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Good Manufacturing Requirements. Definition The retail certification program (RCP) is an annual Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification intended to evaluate a facility against current GMPs, as defined by the FDA’s Code of Federal Regulations and current industry standard for the type of product produced, purchased or introduced into the private label market. The retail certification program certifies a facility to the FDA Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) relating to: cGMP OTC drugs cGMP OTC drug API/excipient/component cGMP supplements cGMP dietary ingredients cGMP medical devices cGMP cosmetics ISO 22716:2007 cGMP food cGMP infant formula General consumer products GMP Benefits The RCP is recognized by many retailers; the program deliverables meet multiple retailers’ annual GMP requirements.
