Definition UL offers three distinct SQF training programs designed to help customers understand the requirements of the SQF Code, continually improve their system and learn the techniques and expectations of internal auditing and auditing requirements of the SQF Code. SQF Implementation Training This course is designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the requirements of the most recent edition (7.2) of the SQF Code. Participants will be able to effectively implement the requirements of the SQF Code, prepare their organizations for an initial certification audit and maintain an implemented program after attending the training. In addition, participants will be able to implement a robust verification program as required by the SQF Code. Course Contents: Introduction to SQF implementation/SQF training Preparation for SQF certification Certification process Implementation of an SQF system System elements (SQF Code Module 2) GMP and Post Farm Gate SQF Code (Module 11 and other modules) This training course is aimed at potential SQF practitioners, auditors, consultants, and company senior managers and staff interested in understanding the details of the SQF Code and the program. SQF Advanced Practitioner Training This course provides advanced training for SQF practitioners. It is designed to help current SQF practitioners continually improve the SQF system. Detailed guidance in the use of continuous improvement tools will be provided to participants. This course will focus on post-SQF implementation activities, such as maintaining the system after initial certification, preparing for recertification, managing corrective actions, etc. Course contents: Establishment of food safety and quality objectives Internal audits Corrective and preventive actions/root cause analysis Continuous improvement Preparation for recertification audit This training course is aimed at current SQF practitioners, auditors and consultants. SQF Internal Auditing Training This advanced course offers practical audit scenarios and examples that help participants to understand the techniques and expectations of internal auditing, and the requirements of the SQF Code. Successful completion of the training will help participants effectively perform an SQF internal audit relevant to their operations. The facilitator will provide honest feedback on the auditing skills of participants, based on observation of practical exercises in the training, to further improve their auditing skills.
