Sustainable Company Certification

UL's Sustainability Quotient (SQ®) Program gives companies the opportunity to achieve third party sustainability certification for their whole enterprise, demonstrating clear market leadership and a commitment to environmental stewardship at every level of business operations. Definition The SQ® Program is a comprehensive system of assessing, rating and certifying the sustainability initiatives of corporations. With a focus on the environment, governance, workforce, customers/suppliers and community engagement/human rights, the SQ® Program promotes the adoption of a standardized language and rating platform for corporate sustainability. Benefits UL understands that sustainability is a journey and that different companies are in different stages along that journey. That's why companies can achieve one of two types of certification under the SQ® Program: full enterprise level certification or focus area certification, which recognizes milestone achievements on the path toward full certification.
