05-04-2015

ANCA was a winner at the recent 50th Australian Export Awards. Director Pat Boland accepted the Large Advanced Manufacturer award which ANCA also won in 1995. The awards were hosted at Parliament House in Canberra, Australia by Trade Minister Craig Emerson. Austrade State Director for Tasmania and Victoria, Margaret Bounader, said: "ANCA is an outstanding example of successful, export-focussed manufacturing." "ANCA exports 98% of its products and has built its reputation through innovation and a commitment to research and development." The quality of new products released this year, such as the MX5 tool grinder, and the high number of engineers employed by the company, which exceeds one hundred, is testament to this commitment. Pat Boland said, "We were pleased to receive the award as it is recognition for the dedication of our employees. ANCA staff are very passionate about our products and assisting our customers." ANCA achieved a 19 percent increase in export sales during 2011/12 and has been significantly increasing the number of employees over recent years. ANCA's win represents a positive story of an Australian manufacturer succeeding on a global scale.
