New containerised compressed air system

The team have recently built and supplied a fully packaged plug and play containerised compressed air system for a local Sugar Beet client. The client was looking for an efficient plug and play compressed air system that could be installed outside and have full enviroinment contol. The package incorporates an Avelair VSD 30 variable speed air compressor with a wet and dry receiver, refrigerant air dryer, filtration and desiccant dryer to deliver 225m³/hr of compressed air at 7 bar to ISO 8573 class 1.3.1. The refrigerant air dryer was installed to reduce the moisture content onto the desiccant dryer to offer extended desiccant life and reduce servicing costs. Full environmental control includes rain ingress protection, cooling air intake, hot air discharge ductwork, internal heating, internal lighting and emergency lighting. An electrical distribution board is installed with all internal connections to equipment offering one point electrical connection. Smooth bore aluminium pipework is installed between the equipment with a one point air connection on the external of the container. All condensate from the air treatment equipment is connected to a condensate management system with one point discharge at the external of the container. The system was fully tested at Avelair and a Factory Acceptance Test was completed before dispatch ensuing peace of mind for the client.
