Success at the LogiMAT 2015 trade fair

From 10 to 12 February 2015, Blickle was once again represented at one of the world’s leading intralogistics trade fairs, the LogiMAT in Stuttgart. The appearance focused on the demo trolley designed especially for the LogiMAT with Blickle’s internally developed drive concept. Electrically driven wheels allow for a significant reduction of the force to be exerted on start-up. Thanks to the high load capacity of Blickle castors, the transport trolley can be moved and manoeuvred in a controlled manner, even under heavy loads. Visitors also showed a keen interest in the Blickle drum and dead man’s brake castors. These castors feature a high braking performance with a low operation force. The brake can be operated by methods such as a cable pull or a lever arm. The enclosed design protects the brake shoes against corrosion and dirt. Therefore the brake performance is not affected by wet conditions or road contamination. Both braking systems are available as both swivel and fixed castors and are used primarily in transport units with higher load capacities as travel brakes and locking brakes. On the final day of the trade fair, Managing Director Reinhold Blickle offered a positive summary: “We were pleased with the high amount of conversations with existing and prospective customers and were able to establish many interesting contacts over the course of the fair.”
