Surface finish can be adjusted through a combination of material selection, material formulation, tooling design and additional operations. ***Smooth extrusion surfaces***: High gloss, satin and matt appearance extrusions can be achieved using a wide range of materials. Material selection will have a significant influence on the desired finish. ***Textured extrusion finishes***: A range of finishes can be applied to profiles as they are extruded to give a rough surface or textured finish including a wood grain or leather effect.
