Starting out in 1982, Saburo Products assisted manufacturing companies in product development and in their search for component suppliers and subcontractors.

As is commonly the case when companies work together, common areas of expertise and interest form.

One activity concerned the production and design of spring mechanisms for window blinds leading ultimately to the company making a new, patented device. The production was almost completely subcontracted amongst companies specialising in specific areas of manufacture.
