Stuga build and sell automated sawing & machining centers mainly for the manufacture of uPVC window and door frames.

The original Stuga company was first started in 1974 under the name of Thomas Engineering and subsequently became Stuga Limited with machine design and manufacture starting in 1986. Stuga Machinery Ltd began in 2010 and continues to build machinery using the original designs and some of the original design staff.

In February 2022 Stuga was purchased by Sturtz Maschinenbau GMBH who are a world leading fenestration machinery manufacturer specialising in automatic welding and corner cleaning lines and automated logistics and sorting equipment.

The company policy is to always support their machines in the market place with spare parts refurbishment and service. Sturtz operate the same policy.
