Aeration & Mixing© Started out in 2012 to develop and promote the sustainable and energy efficient effective use of microbubbles in aeration and mixing technologies. A&M are the sole suppliers of Nikuni KTM gas-mixing pumps used for microbubble generation and gas to liquid mixing applications

Microbubbles are being recognised as a very important part of a large range of new energy efficient technologies embracing many disciplines. Applications vary across sectors such as drug delivery in medicine, clean and wastewater treatment, manufacture of foods and chemicals, gas-mixing, gas injection and gas to liquid transfer in many industrial processes.

Aeration & Mixing also is heavily involved in hydrocyclonic separation systems making use of Nikuni Co's excellent VDF vortex dynamic filters. These efficient labour-saving hydrocyclones will extract metallic and other particles from waste streams including machine tool coolant systems. For example, up to 95% of aluminium particles down to 10um can be removed in just one pass.

One of the greatest benefits of the Nikuni VDF range is no replacement filter elements are required, reducing maintenance and lowering operational filtration costs and, crucially, eliminating the environmentally damaging filter element waste media. Considerable savings can be enjoyed from valuable recovered metallic waste such as copper, titanium, nickel, gold etc. even some natural materials such as diamond dust.
