Maxmag Moulded Magnets use the process of injection moulding to manufacture a fully magnetised precision ferrite magnets. During the process we orientate the magnetic poles as required by the customer to interface with their components. This injection moulded magnet method means we can manufacture magnets in complex shapes to tight tolerances. Being able to injection mould the strontium ferrite material means that we can reduce the need for subassembly magnets, and post-operative works such as gluing in bushes.Our magnet materials can be blended to achieve the required strength of magnetisation and we are able to mould in bonded polymers such as PPS, Nylon 6, Nylon 12 and manufacture our own Ferrite Filled Polypro. We can currently achieve up to 2.2 MGOe but are currently working on a new blend of material that will enable use to achieve up to 4 MGOe and possibly higher.
