Maxmag Moulded Magnets
For more information on Maxmag Moulded Magnets please contact us.Maxmag Moulded Magnets has had several name changes and ownership changes over the years. However, the founder and staff have not changed and can offer the same service as everwas. Aynsley Brown developed the process of injection moulding a fully magnetised plastic component whilst at Dynacast. Eventually this turned into Boxmag Rapid Ltd and was part of the Wolseley group of companies. The company was then sold from the Wolseley group and formed Antar Equipment Ltd in Aston, Birmingham. Where it went through a further change of ownership to Maxmag Precision Magnets Ltd. In 2007 it was purchased by the three directors of Andel Plastics, who had developed the tooling and did some of the manufacturing under the supervision of Aynsley Brown. Rather than seeing Maxmag Precision Magnets shut down it was purchased with a view to adding a unique addition to the injection moulding range of Andel Plastics. Since then both Andel Plastics and Maxmag Moulded Magnets have moved to newer premises where they can both operate in the same facility. All the tooling required to manufacture our magnets are made in-house and all the magnets are manufactured in the same facility in Birmingham, UK.Many years ago Maxmag North America Division was set up and we have an excellent operation where we can service the USA with ferrite magnets manufactured in UK.
