With a client list that includes companies in regions including the Middle East, Brazil and Russia, Foam Techniques Ltd are as keen as ever to provide a service for customers right on their doorstep. The foam conversion operation at Booth Drive, on the Park Farm Industrial Estate in Wellingborough, specialises in foam products for a host of applications, from acoustic foams for the aerospace industry and thermal foam for industrial ventilation systems, through to sponges for domestic cleaning and home decorating. Investment in state-of-the-art machinery - including a new 200,000 Euro Contour Cutting Machine that is set to be installed in February 2015, allows the company to convert foam from leading manufacturers in Europe to suit end user requirements for clients across the UK and internationally. There are also plans to invest in two new Lorries, worth around £85,000 to improve service to customers and ensure that the company’s ethos that ‘the customer is king’ is upheld. Last month, the company appeared at the Advanced Engineering Show at the NEC in Birmingham, focusing Basotect, a lightweight high-performance acoustic and thermal insulation foam. Vinay Relan, Managing Director & Executive Chairman of Foam Techniques, said: “We have customers all over the world, but we also have customers right here in Wellingborough and are always happy to speak to local firms about their foam needs. “We have the sales expertise to advise on the solutions available, design and create the products to meet customers’ needs and we are as happy to fulfil an order worth £100 as we are a bulk order worth many thousands. “Foam Techniques was once a start-up business and we understand that small firms are at the heart of industry, so we are more than happy to have a conversation with any firm that wants to discuss how we might be able to help them.”
