CM Edge Profiling Machinery

CM provide edge profiling equipment to European mineral wool insulation manufacturer CM Machinery has recently supplied an in line rebating station to a leading manufacturer of mineral wool insulation. The station provides the facility to automatically rebate all four sides of the board. The machinery locates within the customers main production line and CM Engineers have developed its layout and controls to integrate with the existing equipment. The station accepts individual boards coming from the line. It carries out a sequence of squaring the board, rebating the first two edges, rotating the boards, squaring and rebating the second two edges before discharging the board back to the main line. Rebating is carried out by specifically designed cutters to suit the edge profile being produced. Facility to handle boards at different thickness is provided. CM designed and manufactured the equipment in their premises in Craigavon, Northern Ireland and the equipment has been installed on site by CM Engineers.
