About Us
Established by our two Directors, John Cufley and Robert Taylor in Rochester, Kent in 1974, the organization exchanging as "Contact" and entered the material taking care of industry by outlining and creating mechanical scoops, forklift fork expansions and forklift lifting jibs. The underlying achievement of these items enabled our authors to build up the business and enter the commercial center as one of just five forklift connection producers in the UK.
Amid 1978 we fanned out into the assembling of automatic specialised palletising and distributors, and major contracts with Cadburys, Tate and Lyle, Johnsons Polish, Tayto Crisps and Hellmann's Mayonnaise enabled us to extend our production facility, bringing about re-location to bigger premises in Mid Wales.
In 1980 the organization's trading name was changed to 'Contact Poweriser Ltd'.
With continued development in the forklift connection and material handling side of the business, and with a regularly expanding product range, the choice was taken to focus on the forklift connection side of the business resulting in the organisation exclusively specialising in the design and assembly of these items.
